Our tipis have many possible layouts, to suit any event from weddings to corporate, from 1 tipi to 6 tipis joined together, with a capacity between 50 – 300+ seated guests

Our benches and table sets seat 8 people and there can be around 9 per Tipi. (72 seated) It all depends on how you want to use the space with room for dancing, chilling out, drinks at the bar and music!

Our experienced team of tipi crew will be on site a day or two prior to your event to measure out and construct the tipis. The same goes for the de-rig, usually the morning after your event.
The rigging of tipis is a technical job, taking up to 8 hours for a 3 tipi with a small team of 4-5 riggers. Therefore we cannot allow you to use your own staff as our team is trained for this purpose.

Each Giant Hat tipi is 10.3 metres in diameter with the sides down, and 13 metres with all of the sides raised. The amount of ground space required is dependent on how many tipis you need and your chosen configuration. Our choose your tipi page gives several examples and measurements.

Yes!
They really help minimise the stress of the event, especially for destination weddings.
We are happy to help with some of the planning by recommending some of our trusted suppliers that we have used in the past. However at this stage, we want our focus to be on your beautiful event space.

No, looking after the fire pit is easy to do your-self with proper instruction.
It is important to be available for the final handover of the tipis after the team have rigged to go through all the correct safety procedures.

Once we have set up your tipis, our Team Leader will show you how to build and maintain the fire and how to open the smoke caps correctly. Smoke caps MUST be opened when the fire is in use as they are the chimney.

NZ weather is very changeable,  we always recommend having a source of heat to keep your guests warm and cosy.
Tipis provide shade and the tipi smoke cap can be opened to allow warm air to move up and out of the tipis.

Made in the UK our synthetic coconut matting is the perfect way to create a seamless finish inside the tent. We supply a waterproof membrane underneath all our matting. It is also very high heel proof! If you feel you want a harder surface, please take a look at our dance floor.
